About This Blog

Becoming Gezellig is my spot to chronicle all the things I am trying to make: good food, patchwork, punny and/or nerdy embroidery, a few pretty dresses, family life, a comfy and functional home.

If that sounds all over the place, well, okay, I kind of am. But what ties all this together in my mind is the word "gezellig" -- a nearly untranslatable Dutch term that evokes coziness, warmth, good people, simple and personal spaces. (Also, cats.)
